Quizzing 2

Here is the quiz.

It seems that feedback is vital to a student's success when testing is being used as an educational tool. Frequent tests with good feedback can be a useful teaching moment. There is also good research showing that allowing a student to arrive at an answer unaided is also beneficial. My quiz incorporates both long and short answers that allow the student to examine what they know about literature in the nineteenth century. The multiple choice questions provides feedback when they get an incorrect response teaching them more about the subject to help aid memory in future assignments.

Animated Gifs

I used gifmaker.me to create my animated gif. If you click on the picture it starts the animation. I chose gifmaker because the name sounded like exactly what I wanted. I then used Jing to capture 4 pics of bunnies in jars. Creating the gif was easy, but getting it to Blogger was a bit of a challenge. It kept opening in Preview and not as an animated gif. I finally got it to save as a gif. I'm sure there is an easier way of getting gifs into Blogger.

Exciting things are happening at GoogleSites. From real time collaboration to drag and drop, the new GoogleSites promises to be more streamlined and user friendly. I decided to devote my Google Site to the writings from my family. I am gathering writings to place on the site.

Give me a break!

I am constantly getting to the end of my day and realizing that I have yet to finish a whole bottle of water. We all know that water consumption is healthy and necessary. It is also recommended to take a break from your work regularly. Drink! is a Chrome add-on that combines both of these necessary components. Drink! can be set at your interval for a break. Here is the link so you can add it to your Chrome add-ons.
